Little Tigers - 3 months to walking

Little Tigers is an exciting room where your child  can explore their world and further their development at the same time.

Little Tigers room is full of exciting things: activities range from play gyms, walkers and musical toys to water play, flour play and outdoor play .  Here at Meganursery we are committed to seeing your child grow and develop.  In order to meet your child's individual needs, staff work alongside parents to ensure that your child receives the best quality care.

We  aim to provide a home  environment by working with parents to ensure that your child's home routine can continue at nursery.  Little Tigers room is the perfect place for your baby to explore their world and learn all about who they are and what they can do.

 

Penguin Room - Walking to 2 years

Penguin room is a bright, stimulating, fun room, where your child can practice walking on their new found wobbly feet.

Penguin room has a large range of equipment to allow your child to explore the world around them. The equipment ranges from: climbing frame, home corner, sand, water, imaginative play, musical instruments, jigsaws, messy play and outdoor play.

Penguin room is the ideal room for your child to experience and explore their surroundings. Our aim is to to encourage your child to be confident little learners, who are slowly becoming more independent.

We understand the importance of giving your child the space and opportunity to develop their learning in a safe, secure environment.

 

Monkey Room - 2 years to 3 years

Monkey room is a very exciting, fun and happy room where your child can practice being an independent, confident 2 year old.

Monkey room is divided into two main areas: creative area and main room.  The children in Monkey room have the flexibility to choose which area they would like to play in therefore making Monkey room a free flow room.

The creative area has a variety of equipment: sand, water,painting, sticking, collage, junk modeling. clay, play dough, mark making and lots more messy things!

The main room also has a wide range of equipment: home corner, imaginative play, small world, construction, mark making, book corner. The Monkey room children also have regular access to the outdoor area.  

The main aim in Monkey room is to encourage independence. The Monkey room staff are committed to ensuring your child receives the best possible care and learning opportunities. Staff work alongside parents to support key milestones in your child's life eg. toilet training.

Monkey room is a fun, exciting and stimulating room, where your child can access quality play and learning.  

 

Kangaroo Room - (Pre-School) 3 years to 5 years 

Kangaroo room is your child's first experience of  'school', so here at Meganursery we intend to make this opportunity fun and exciting for you and your child.

Kangaroo room is a bright and exciting pre -school area.  Kangaroo room is divided into two areas: creative and main room. The children have free flow access to both areas. 

Within the creative area the children can access many learning experiences: sand, water, painting, collage, junk modeling, clay, play dough, mark making and lots more messy things.

The main area is divided into 6 areas that cover the curriculum: Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Creative, Mathematics, Language, Literacy and Communication, Personal, Social, Emotional and Physical development.  Each area is fully equipped with resources and experiences that will enhance your child's learning and development.

The pre- school staff  are committed to ensuring that your child receiives a quality pre-school experience.
