I am just writing to thank you for your wonderful food hampers.
I have come across so many destitute women in my work as a midwife for asylum seekers and homeless women. When women can't get vouchers for food or are waiting for vouchers they are quite desperate and often do not eat. If it wasn't for your hampers I really don't know what I would have done to help all these women. There really is nowhere else to turn. It has been wonderful to see your practical love and kindness for these women.
You don't just provide the food, but are always so loving, accommodating and helpful. Whatever I ask is never too much trouble. You never tire of helping it always lifts my day to speak to one of you. I am so grateful to The Storehouse.
The women you have helped have all suffered dreadfully before their arrival in Sheffield and then go on to suffer rejection. The love and acceptance that is conveyed in your hampers is a really blessing.
