The Storehouse
Every day in our cities people find themselves trapped by poverty. Many of these people don't have the means to buy themselves food for the week. The Storehouse provides emergency food hampers for individuals and families in need across our cities as a means of relieving the distress caused by poverty. Last year we delivered over 500 hampers to people.
We work in partnership with a number of agencies including Social Services, NHS, tenancy support workers, schools and the South Yorkshire Police, who provide us with referrals.
Contributions of food and finance are provided by supermarkets, the Megacentre and the community, although we always need more, so please get involved.
The Storehouse provides people with their next meal. Our clients are in desperate situations, and often receiving a food hamper gives them the strength and hope to make it through another day.
Do you know anyone in need of a Storehouse hamper?
Likewise, if you know someone who would benefit from a hamper or you would like to contribute some food contact us today by info@yourelookingmega.co.uk or by phone on 0114 2535990.
